About Bowling for Camp Michitanki
Bowling for Camp Michitanki is organized by the UM Transplant Center. Bowlers raise money to send up to 100 kids who have had organ transplants to a fantastic week of camp at no cost to their families. Our campers, ages 7-15, have a blast in a medically-supervised camp setting. They build lasting friendships and celebrate the gift of life they’ve received through organ transplantation.
Bowling for Camp Michitanki is Saturday, March 17 (St. Patrick’s Day), 2-5pm, at Bel-Mark Lanes in Ann Arbor.
We aim to raise $40,000 through Bowling for Camp Michitanki, most of it from our bowlers asking for donations online and in person. This is half of the $80,000 UM Transplant Center commits to raising each year to cover the annual cost of camp.
When you sign up to bowl, form a team and raise money, you are sending our transplant kids to camp, a life-changing experience. Camp Michitanki happens because of you!
