An estimated 35,000 people in the United States suffer from ruptured brain aneurysms annually. Approximately six out of 100 people live with the threat of dormant aneurysms. Once an aneurysm ruptures, there is a 50 percent chance of becoming disabled. Neurosurgeons at the University of Michigan are devoted to helping people resume robust lives after aneurysm treatment. The University of Michigan is aggressively pursuing treatments to preclude aneurysms from altering and ending the lives of thousands of people each year.
This is our 4th year and our goal for 2021 is to raise $15,000! We need your help. With your support, we can move toward the promise of tomorrow.
When you sign up to participate in the Walk/Run, form a team, and raise money, you are raising awareness and supporting the critical research and clinical care done at the University of Michigan.
